Either PIIP or you find an employer who is willing to take you on under an Australian Apprenticeship agreement in your chosen area. PIIP proactively develops opportunities for new positions with employers. However, your networks, friends and family are also good places to find a suitable employer.
Once an employer is found, we arrange for you to speak with them about your Australian Apprenticeship. PIIP can talk to you and your employer about Australian Apprenticeships and help you both enter into a National Training Agreement, the legal basis of an Australian Apprenticeship. PIIP will also help you work with a Group Training Organisation and help you choose a suitable training package at a Registered Training Organisation. Your Australian Apprenticeship effectively then commences once you’re enrolled and working.
